Joe Davis

Joe Started his music career playing bass and singing in bands as a teenager in the Melbourne live music scene . He studied piano, vocals and guitar at Box Hill Institute and then went on to touring and performing for a number years.

Joe moved to Bright 10 years ago and finally Myrtleford 5 years ago where he now resides with his wife and 3 children.

Currently Joe is working at Porepunkah Primary as a ‘Super Glee’ music teacher for the ACMF (Australian childrens music foundation) which is a charity that provides free instruments and tuition to schools all around Australia – He also stages free live music events in his community in the Alpine Shire, including the Myrtleford Summer Series, Twilight in Bright series and youth music events.

And now as a conductor for WOV North East Vic Joe’s philosophy of communication and connection through music has become a living reality.
