Creative programs that transform lives
Michelle Kerin
Michelle Kerin is a musician, vocalist, songwriter/composer, choir conductor, sound therapist and yoga teacher. She is the conductor of our With One Voice Kingston Park Choir. Michelle also works as a singing teacher in several schools in Adelaide with private voice students, and prepares choirs for performance in the South Australian Public Primary Schools’ Festival of Music, held at Festival Theatre each year. She is a former conductor of the Onkaparinga City Choral Society and loves to sing with people of all ages.
Music and singing has always been an important part of Michelle’s life. As a young girl, she learnt piano and violin and in her teens she played the drums. Joining her mother’s Celtic band in the late 90s planted the seed of a love of performing and travelling. Michelle has performed at festivals and events in Australia, UK, Ireland & USA. When not creating and performing her own music, she can often be found supporting local, interstate and international bands and artists as a backing vocalist, percussionist and musician. With a wealth of experience and professional etiquette gained along the journey, Michelle’s formal qualifications include a Diploma of Music and a Diploma of Sound Therapy.
Shanti Sound is Michelle’s creative outlet for healing through the power of sound, music and song. Through Shanti Sound Michelle offers Sacred World Music, Sound Therapy and Yoga. Michelle’s album ‘Rise and Shine’ is a collection of mantras for yoga practice. Music by Shanti Sound can be found on iTunes, Google Play & Spotify.
