Ellie Ferguson

Ellie lives and breathes music. She is a classroom music teacher as well as musical director, piano, guitar and voice teacher. She has been singing since Grade 3 and performed overseas in choirs and musicals, a highlight of which was in the Empire State Building in NYC!

Her vocal experience lies in the world of Musical Theatre but harmonies are where her true love lies. Working in 9 part harmonies with a touring performance choir is her bread and butter, feeling at home in the sound that acapella voices can make when combined.

Ellie has always found a ‘home’ in any choir she has been part of and is very excited about leading the Sunshine Coast choir, bringing together people from all walks of life to enjoy singing and time together.

Ellie has a dual degree of Arts (Music Extended Major) and Secondary Education from the University of Queensland and welcomes, with open arms (and voice), the experience to provide her choral, vocal and education experience to With One Voice.
