Catherine Threlfall

Catherine Threlfall is an experienced music leader, teacher and music therapist with a lifelong passion for making learning and the arts accessible to everyone.

She has worked since 1993 with children, adolescents and adults of all abilities and their families in schools, early childhood, community arts, special schools, early intervention, post-school options, community health, aged care, research and community settings as a music leader, teacher, therapist, advisor, writer, presenter and leader. Catherine’s career has taken her from Gippsland, to the Yarra Ranges, Melbourne, Darwin and rural NT and now to beautiful Sunraysia.

Catherine’s lifelong love of choirs began as a chorister at school. She vividly remembers discovering the elation that comes from singing with others. Catherine has led children’s choirs in the community and schools for 20 years and is thrilled to lead a mixed age community choir for With One Voice Mildura.

Catherine combines her life in learning and the arts education with being Mum to two young daughters, step-mum to a mob of grown up kids, and Grandma Cath to three beautiful grandchildren.
