Geelong Sings: Are you coming to Harmony Day?
March 5, 2013
Dear Geelong Sings
Congratulations on a wonderful performance at the Rotary Conference. Feedback from an organiser said: “It was a really great ending to the conference and the buzz and feeling from With One Voice was fantastic. All of the audience were on their feet waving arms from side to side and joined in the singing of We Still Call Australia Home. After the conference many Rotarians in audience commented on the ending and the involvement of Geelong Sings.”
Your next gig is at the Blokes Day Out on Sunday 24 March at the Eastern Beach Reserve at the Geelong Waterfront!
Have you invited your friends and colleagues to the performance on Harmony Day? Last year the event gathered quite a crowd, so let’s all take part and make this year’s event even bigger and better than ever!
When: 1pm, Thursday 21 March
Where: Collins Place forecourt, 45 Collins Street, Melbourne
Please share the event information and poster with your networks!
There will be a secure room for your belongings during the performance. Your conductor will soon provide you with more information about the event and songs.
Please note that events like Harmony Day sometimes attract media attention. Creativity Australia also captures photographs and video, which is an important way for us to celebrate the wonderful work of the choirs! Please don’t hesitate to call us on (03) 8679 6088 if you wish to discuss this further.
We’re thrilled with the progress of the volunteer program, with all but a few of the volunteer roles filled across all choirs! Thank you so much for your enthusiasm so far. We look forward to working with you!
