Creative programs that transform lives
‘Choir Girl’ Fringe Show
September 28, 2012
Whilst you’re on holidays St Kilda Singers, why not organise an outing with some friends from choir?
Attic Erratic Theatre Company is producing a show as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival, ‘Choir Girl.’
“‘Choir Girl’ is a quirky, dark tale of unrequited love, obsession, isolation, and connectedness. The play follows the story of Susan, a dedicated chorister who lives and breathes for the connection found when singing with others. But the audience soon learn there’s much more to Susan than perfect smiles and a beautiful voice – as she treads the fine line between dedication and obsessive mania we find out she has been kicked out her last eleven singing groups… as she falls head over heels in love with her new accompanist (without ever speaking to him) we begin to see a crack in her picture perfect presentation.”
To celebrate the wonderful choral community, Attic Erratic are offering a special deal for choirs – if you book a group of 10+, then contact Danny from Attic Erratic to book and receive a special discount of $13.00 per ticket! Or, there is a special 4 person discount of $15.00, which can be claimed by calling the Melbourne Fringe booking line and quoting the word “harmony.”
Don’t forget your upcoming holidays – St Kilda Sings will be breaking Monday 24th September, returning Monday 8th October.
