It is with great regret that Creativity Australia announces the closure of its With One Voice Frankston program.
The success and sustainability of the With One Voice program is contingent upon its community engagement model. This model has been the cornerstone of the growth of Creativity Australia’s programs. Unfortunately, whilst the With One Voice Frankston has received great support from the individual members of the Frankston community, Creativity Australia has been unable to attract the financial support from the local businesses and government to ensure the continued operation of this program.
Creativity Australia would like to take this opportunity to thank supporters and partners of the Frankston program, in particular, The Brotherhood of St Laurence and Max Employment. Moreover, Creativity would like to also thank the wonderfully talented conductors, Sue Kirkpatrick and Jenny Taylor, who have worked tirelessly to grow the choir.
Creativity Australia would also like to thank the Frankston City Council for taking the time to review our submissions, during our last ditch efforts to save the choir.
The last rehearsal of With One Voice Frankston will be on 28 July.
We hope that this is not the last that will be heard of With One Voice Frankston and the wonderful voices that attended choir each week.

Dear With One Voice choirs
Sing for Spring is here! As participants of the With One Voice program, you are at the hub of a national video competition to get Australian communities singing together for a great cause! We would love YOU to enter… with your choir, your family, your colleagues, your sports team, your school – let’s get Australia singing! www.singforspring.com
We don’t care if entrants have never sung before! We want to have a bit of fun and get families, schools, workplaces and community groups together to sing a song, video it and enter it online. A nursery rhyme, office karaoke, campfire hip-hop, yodelling… the sky’s the limit! The first videos have already started trickling in, including Melbourne Mum Yvette and 5-year-old Levi singing and beatboxing!
Everyone is invited to register now at www.singforspring.com, challenge friends, vote, share and donate! Entry is by donation of about $10 per participant. The best videos will be shown on the big screen at Federation Square and the With One BIG Voice concert (Melbourne Town Hall) in October. So let’s get together and Sing for Spring!
Please help us spread the word!
Donations raised will support people in need through Creativity Australia’s With One Voice program, recently named one of Australia’s top social innovations for the second year in a row. As you know, Creativity Australia is a registered charity. All donations are tax-deductible. The With One Voice program has 15 locations in Melbourne and surrounds, Brisbane and Sydney, with plans to go nationwide and a pilot program in Phoenix, Arizona. Find out more about the cause.
