MELBOURNE SINGS FIRST REHEARSAL:
Creativity Australia's first Community Choir, Melbourne Sings, begun at Sofitel Melbourne on March 3rd, 2009. This innovative progam integrates residents of the Collingwood, Fitzroy and Richmond housing estates with staff from Sofitel Melbourne, and other local businesses.
The aim of this choir is not only to create a more cohesive society, but also to connect residents with potential employment opportunities that would usually be out of their reach. The efffects of singing in a group like this will also encourage greater leadership and communication skills, raise self-esteem and self-efficacy.

Creativity Australia's Melbourne Sings Choir inspired and amazed at their very first public performance, the Artists Unite Bushfire Appeal Auction at Fitzroy Town Hall on May 21st, 2009.
