Sing for your Supper
The inaugural gala dinner SING FOR YOUR SUPPER at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins was a moving event held in aid of Creativity Australia. We raised over $150,000 to create opportunities for migrants, disadvantaged people, and communities – to help unlock their potential and build greater social cohesion, communication and leadership skills and wellbeing.
Guest of Honour was Creativity Australia’s Patron, Dame Elisabeth Murdoch and amongst the other 500 guests we welcomed Patrons Hugh Morgan and Professor Allan Fels, Ambassador Dr Alan Finkel, Thought Leaders including Evan Thornley, Clive Scott, Frank Cicutto and Major Sponsors De Bortoli, Sofitel Melbourne on Collins and Music Theatre Australia. Everyone was very positive about unlocking the right side of our brains to achieve our full human potential. And we all did sing for our supper with a great deal of gusto and in good tune! The Sofitel even created a very special dessert platter to inspire our minds!
Entertainment by MTA included MCs Zara and Troy, Pot-Pourri, brilliant pianist Stefan Cassomenos and the Royal Children’s Sings and Melbourne Sings choirs.
