Join a With One Voice Choir today!

Creativity Australia has limited places available in its community choir programs. These choir programs involve members of the general public and employees from various city businesses, disadvantaged people and migrants (especially unemployed ones). The choirs rehearse with a top choir leader and there are performances scheduled for special events. Catering is provided as well as Allan’s Music discount cards for all members.


The With One Voice program aims to recognise each unique voice. The program bridges social capital and assists migrants and others to develop a sense of belonging, new networks and employment pathways. Participants develop leadership potential, build self esteem, communication and creative skills. They also learn how to work as a team. When many diverse voices come together as "one voice", the outcomes are transformational.

Melbourne Sings - When: Tuesdays 5.15pm - 6.30pm Where: Sofitel Melbourne (map). Followed by Supper.


Geelong Sings - When: Mondays 5.30pm - 6.45pm Where: Waterfront Christian Church (map). Followed by Supper.


Dandenong Sings - When: Wedensdays 5.15pm - 6.30pm Where: Paddy O'Donoghue Centre, Noble Park (map). Followed by Supper.


Footscray Sings  - When: Thursdays 5.30pm - 6.45pm Where: CURRENT: Phoenix Youth Centre, 72 Buckley Street, Footscray. FROM AUG 26th: 'The Church', 10A Hyde Street, Footscray (at the rear of the Town Hall) Melways ref pg 42, C7 (map). Followed by supper.


Royal Children’s Sings - When: Mondays 5.15 – 6.30pm, For RCH staff only Where: Ella Latham Room


Sunshine Sings - When: Mondays 5.15pm - 6.30pm (from October 4) Where: Djerriwarrh Services, Sunshine (map). Followed by supper.


These choirs provide a unique opportunity for you to improve self esteem, develop leadership potential and use your voice to be heard. It is a way for employed members to reach out to unemployed and disadvantaged people, to provide direct support and help others achieve what you may take for granted – a secure job and a place in mainstream society.


For all members, the choirs provide a unique opportunity to improve self-esteem, develop leadership skills and most of all, make your voice heard while having fun.
