- 10 Ways to Help|
No matter what age you are or what language you speak, singing offers opportunities to learn, grow, and express who you are.
Creativity Australia has teamed up with Benetas, a leading aged care provider in Victoria, to bring you With One Voice Altona Meadows.
Singing is human nature, yet so often we confine ourselves to only singing in the shower or car. With One Voice choirs provide an opportunity for everyone to share in the joy of song, improving our wellbeing, happiness and sense of community.
Join now! No singing experience necessary, everyone is welcome.

Hey everyone check out the Altona Meadows Sing for Good entry.
We’re a choir who rehearse at an aged care facility — Benetas St. George’s. The choir includes residents as well as members of the community, and through rehearsals as well as performances music lights up the lives of all who participate. We specialise in the great classics of the 40s – 60s, and we love to get a bit silly too…

Conducted by With One Voice lead conductor Kym Dillon, the With One Voice Altona Meadows group includes residents of Benetas St George’s Aged Care Facility as well as friends, family and community members. Over several weeks the students of Altona Meadows Primary, lead by Gregory Hall, visited the facility to rehearse with the choir. The students incorporated their musical instrument skills into the songs, and the two groups learned to sing in harmony.
Age proved no boundary, as the two groups delivered a stellar performance to a jubilant crowd at Benetas St George’s on Wednesday.
